Advanced Microsoft Copilot: Work, Build, Delegate, and Govern

Microsoft Copilot has expanded far beyond a chat assistant. Home brings Chat, Cowork, and Office work together, Code can turn natural-language requests into reusable solutions, and Autopilot introduces persistent digital roles with their own enterprise identity.

This advanced lesson shows knowledge workers and managers how the pieces fit together. You will learn when to ask, delegate, build, or create an agent; how Microsoft IQ, Skills, plugins, harnesses, workflows, and Managed Runtime support that work; and how Agent 365, evaluation, permissions, and cost controls keep advanced Copilot systems governable.

What you'll learn:

  • Choose between Chat, Cowork, Code, agents, and Autopilot based on the work you need done.
  • Ground Copilot in stable preferences, Microsoft IQ context, and authoritative business evidence.
  • Design advanced agents with the right harness, Skills, tools, specialist agents, workflows, and computer-use boundaries.
  • Explain the Autopilot blueprint and identity model and how Agent 365 governs Microsoft and third-party agents such as OpenClaw.
  • Evaluate, monitor, and budget advanced Copilot workflows before expanding their authority.
You should already understand the Microsoft 365 Copilot basics. You do not need to be a software developer, but some demonstrations require enterprise Copilot, Copilot Studio, Foundry, Frontier, or administrator-enabled preview access.
