ChatGPT as Your Work OS

In this lesson, you’ll build a clear mental model for using ChatGPT as a work operating system. You’ll learn the correct order for developing a workflow, starting with a normal chat, packaging repeatable processes as skills, connecting work applications through plugins, scheduling simple recurring tasks, and combining the full system inside a Workspace Agent. The lesson also covers Projects, team sharing, skill permissions, real-world automation, token-based credits, and practical cost controls.

What you'll learn:

  • Decide when to use a chat, Project, skill, Scheduled Task, plugin, or Workspace Agent.
  • Configure an agent with a role, instructions, files, memory, skills, applications, channels, and automations.
  • Share agents and skills with teammates without creating permission errors.
  • Estimate recurring agent costs and apply human-review and usage guardrails.

This is a beginner-friendly course, but even experienced users will learn something new.
